Saali Mohabbat is a story of two timelines. At a casual lunch in Delhi, Kavita discovers her husband getting comfy with a nubile younger woman. Kavita launches into a tale of a lady, Smita, from Fursatgadh (a small town in UP).

Smita, lived in her happy little world, with her love for nature and her husband Pankaj. However, her bubble is burst when her cousin ‘Shalu’ comes home to stay. With mounting gambling debts, the lure of his wife’s property and a new temptation at home, Pankaj’s commitment to his wife takes a deadly note.

Smita must now choose to protect herself and her world and take revenge on those who have wronged her. This however creates a new threat, in terms of a blackmailing ambitious police officer Ratan coming into the mix. Ratan figures out her lethal past and now she must protect herself once again. But this comes with a heavy price.
